This cajon features a two chamber design with the snare only in the upper chamber which gives it an excellent two-tone sound. Made from 3/8" fir plywood for the body and a 3/32" birch veneer for the playing surface. The body is stained ebony and the playing surface is natural wood-tone, both are coated with durable polyurethane. When the cajon is in a strong light the wood grain glows through to produce a curious and pleasing effect shown in the photos below. ID#4735
