This cajon features a two chamber design with the snare only in the upper chamber which gives it an excellent two-tone sound. Made from 3/8" fir plywood for the body and a 3/32" birch veneer for the playing surface. It is stained a dark brown and the edges are painted black, with a clearcoat of polyurethane covering it all. The playing surface on this one is angled to produce a more comfortable playing position, also making the upper chamber a bit smaller for a greater difference in tone between the two chambers.
